System 80 Power Supply

A new replacement power supply board for Gottlieb System 80 and 80A pinball machines

Introduction

Original System 80/80A power supply boards are over 40 years old and have multiple common failure points that are likely to affect your machine. Troubleshooting usually inolves finding the manual, holding a flashlight, and testing various points with your mutimeter. This board should be reliable for many years to come, but makes troubleshooting easy with multiple status leds and labled test points.

Warning

  1. I have seen multiple system 80 machines where the key, (blank), plastic has fallen out of the power connectors potentially allowing for power lines to be plugged in backwards which could seriously damage your machine. Inspect yours and take a picture of your old board and wires before you unplug anything. Here is my Black Hole with a piece of wire glued in as a replacement key.
